Son Bou is Menorca's only long sandy beach ( the longest in Menorca , 3 Km ). The beach is long and beautiful enough to compensate for the eyesore. Being long and wide, Son Bou is never as crowded as some of the small coves.

Son Bou is located on the south of the island , the road south from Alaior . The beach is well served with bars and watersports . You can find some diferent complex : San Jaime , Royal, Hotels ( Pinguinos , Milanos ) , many villas.

Atractions : Tobogans in San Jaume complex ( An attraction of a very different kind is provided by the entertainment centre, Club San Jaime - popular with children for its exciting water chute and unusual wooden maze ), shopping, restaurants , pubs , disco .
